An Ironic Feet
Published on March 31, 2004 By Shulamite In Humor
My friend says my brother looks like Sam from Lord of the Rings.

He joked that I probably have Hobbit feet too.

Come to find out our feet are identical. My friend's feet are just as flat as mine. They both make suction noises on the floor when we're barefoot. They both leave no room for an arch when walking on dry cement with wet feet. His little toes are triangles like mine. His first toe and second are even, squared off like mine. He thought he had long toes; we both do. Hobbit feet, he said.

Nevertheless, it's weird to finally find your sole mate.

Thanks. It was late. I was tired... but the story is true....

Are they hairy like Hobbit feet? For some reason (probably the same mind set that made you say sole mate) I though of the Friends episode when Joey met his "hand twin". I know, I'm mental.

Oh, wow... I don't watch friends, but that sounds very much like what happened....

No, not hairy feet, he was just making fun of me saying they must be big and hairy if I'm short with a brother who looks like a hobbit.

I assure you my feet aren't hairy. I like my feet. Thanks for your interest!

I have Hobbit feet too (at least my husband says I do)...I think us Hobbit Footed Folks should stick together.....

Anywho, I like my feet too. They're flat, yes, but not hairy, and I happen to like my toes. The only issue I have with them is that they smell funky when I wear sandals or shoes with no socks...(sorry if that was more information than you wanted to hear)..

Maybe I'll write an article for those of us who LIKE our feet... LONG LIVE THE HOBBIT-FOOTED!

And I think all feet are notorious for smell... I'm not surprised by the information...

The worst thing for feet were those jelly shoes from the 80s. They made your feet sweat (which made them smelly), gave you blisters and had no arch support at all. They were cute though

I remember wearing them with little frilly socks. People wore high heels with socks back then too... I like avoiding pantyhose, so as dumb as I think it looks, there's gotta be some advantages...
